- He is bringing three 3D Bioprinters to the SMBCP Facility for students and teachers. 3D bioprinting is the process of generating spatially-controlled cell patterns using 3D printing technologies, where cell function and viability are preserved within the printed construct. Mr. Ikeda is also seeking funds from the San Mateo High School Foundation, San Mateo High School Site Council, the Silicon Valley Foundation and the Carl Perkins Program.
