GATE student preferential enrollment GATE students are eligible for early, preferential enrollment on all courses. GATE students enter their SMUHSD Student Identification Number during registration which is compared to a list of GATE Students provided to us by the San Mateo Union High School District. GATE Students get an opportunity to register for classes/programs before others. After the GATE student enrollment period ends, there is no benefit to GATE status and we do not ask for GATE status. If you claim GATE student status during the GATE student preferential enrollment period, and the class is filled during the GATE student preferential enrollment period, and your child is not part of the SMUHSD GATE program, your registration will be rescinded. You will lose your place in the class and may not be permitted to register for this or any other GATE Parents sponsored class. |
